Combining essential theory with hands-on practical training, the course covers assessing incident scenes for hazards, selecting, wearing, and testing protective clothing such as splash and gas-tight suits, identifying and safely handling hazardous materials, establishing hazard control and decontamination zones, containing and recovering hazardous substances, executing decontamination processes, and performing rescue procedures in simulated HAZMAT scenarios.

With a strong emphasis on both underpinning knowledge and practical application, this training ensures participants gain the confidence and competence to effectively respond to hazardous situations.
